Every six years, the university’s PBL principles are up for reassessment, and this is a process that must involve AAU’s PBL experts; thus, in 2022 both the IAS PBL secretariat and CDUL have been involved in initiating and planning this process in close collaboration with AAU Quality and Analysis. The reassessment of the PBL principles is expected to be concluded in 2024.
IAS PBL researchers across research groups have joined forces in a research project which aims to provide a scientifically based perspective on a PBL approach to pedagogical development in Higher Education.
HEALTH-PBL CASE MODEL
The AAU Department of Health Science and Technology uses a unique PBL model which combines both cases and projects. IAS PBL staff is involved in a project that seeks to improve the quality of case-based teaching to increase student activity.
